Luke Pase has a broad foundation in biological sciences with a strong understanding in genetics, molecular biology, cellular engineering, cell biology and high-content screening platforms. Luke graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Genetics from the University of Melbourne, Australia. Pursuing his passion in genetics and gene regulation, he began his PhD and initiated one of the first microRNA studies in Melbourn at the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research. Fascinated by industrialization of in vivo screening platforms, Luke employed automated high-end microscopy to decipher drivers of inflammation at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. Luke was one of the first members to join the Anocca team, nearly 8 years ago. He established the genetic experimental tool set, led Anocca’s mammalian cell engineering workflows and is a key inventor behind Anocca’s platform intellectual property. Luke’s current role as CTO oversees the de-risking of TCR assets for clinical development, innovation driven scaling of the R&D workflows and establishment of allogeneic cell therapy technologies.
